How my Mind Works

Walgreens is having a ten cent photo print sale.
Reading that, I decided to upload photos to Snapfish,
which is where I normally order prints.
Emailing my mom the Snapfish album from a campout
that BG and SH took in May,
made me take notice of frog photos that BG took.
That led me to think of a conversation I had yesterday about frogs.
I decided to add a frog quote to a photo, to email it to the friend
who mentioned frogs.
Her grandmother's birthday would have been today.
A frog photo seemed a nice way to remember.

Okay, that makes no sense at all.

Yesterday would have been another friend's mom's birthday.
She has known me for a long time.
I could send her anything and she wouldn't think it odd.
Or at least she wouldn't tell me.

There weren't any suitable frog quotes.

I came upon the lyrics to Belle and Sebastian's song, Funny Little Frog.
That reminded me that I first heard that song
when I did merchandising at Best Buy.
Best Buy is where I met the lone male follower of my blog.

(He is 26, single, creative, funny, and smart. Someone needs to grab him)

I really, really like that song.
I think the CD is in one of the boxes here.

Bell and Evans is a brand of chicken that Whole Foods sells.
It is very tasty.
I only like tiny pieces of chicken.
Giant chunks of cooked flesh make me feel sick.
Meat is useful as a vehicle for sauces.

That was not frog. That was TOAD not frog because Toads had bumpy skin and Frogs doesn't have bumpy skin. I don't mind when I hold slimy toads, frogs, and snakes. I like to hold snake but she is wiggly too much. I held lizards too. They are so tiny and my fingertips can feel the lizard's tiny heart pumps.
I like Walgreen because there is always sale price.

Bell and Evans Chicken Patties are my favorite! Now Publix dont have it. Maybe Wal-Mart have it. Publix have Tyson brand but I dont like it because edge of Chicken Patties are so hard.

Lisa, believe it or not, I followed your logic. Do I win a prize??? AND it's my grandmother's birthday today. I think she would be 114 if she were living. She is one of my five favorite people in the whole wide world. :-)

Love to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

One of my kids (or is it 2 of my kids? Can't remember, they all are "quirky") has that same reaction to large pieces of meat. Tiny ones are ok, whole pieces are totally disgusting. I think it was the same kid who was a vegetarian from 13 to 18, just long enough to drive me insane. Ok, I'll admit it didn't take quite that long.

My daughter and I are the same way with large pieces of meat. We just can't handle them.
Btw, I think great minds think alike because I think the same way--usually not about frogs though. lol

Hi Lisa
Great 'toad' picture, well spotted BG!
I know what you mean about the big chunks of meat. My nightmare job would be to be to work in a butchers shop and have to touch all that meat.
Happy 4th July for tomorrow.
