Lisa's Recipe Box

BG made me this wooden recipe box at a workshop for children. It was either at Home Depot or Lowes. She took part in the free workshops at both stores, when she was younger. The children get their own mini store aprons. A parent has to stay and help. That means daddy has to wait until Johnny is done hammering, before he spends lots of the money that mom had earmarked for important things like clothes.

Good morning Lisa, I really like your recipe box! I think it's so nice that Home Depot has set up that program for children. I have taken my grandson Ryan there and it was fun.

I love that recipe box Lisa - it is so nice to have things in your house that you use that your children have made for you. You told me once in a comment box on my blog that I would have lots of 'Baby' craft things to display in the years to come, and it is really heartwarming to see that it is something that you know from experience! And some of those recipes will be having to be tried in this house. Will keep you posted on how they go, though I will have to improvise on where I keep the recipes!

Am not posting on my blog tonight as I now think I know what has been wrong with Baby Kay over the last few days. I have come down with a sore throat, ears and head, and think that this is what has been bothering her. So it is bed for the both of us until Daddy is home on Friday to look after us!!
